A Jamie Owens strike on 78 minutes saw Whitby Town come from behind to take the points in their opening Evo-Stik Premier League game against Mickleover Sports. The vistors had taken a 2-1 lead after Andy Campbell had given Town the lead. Jimmy Beadle made it 2-2 before Owens struck!

The club begin their Evo-Stik League campaign a week tomorrow at home to newly-promoted Mickleover Sports – there are no concerns that the game won’t go ahead.
