Whitby Town striker, Matthew Tymon is set for a return to the matchday squad for Saturday’s clash with Matlock Town at the Towbar Express Stadium at the Turnbull Ground. (Kick off 3pm)

Tymon scored in the opening day draw with Witton Albion, but since picking up a hamstring problem at Buxton has struggled for game time.

However, he is in contention to feature at some point during proceedings against the Gladiators.

There is less positive news elsewhere in attack though with Greg Rutherford and the BetVictor Northern Premier’s top scorer, Bradley Fewster, missing out following his injury at 1874 Northwich last weekend.

Centre-half, Alex White made the bench in Tuesday’s win at Ashton United and is set to at least repeat that on Saturday.

The final absentee is midfielder, Callum Patton who will remain out for the long-term with a back injury.

Head to Head
Both Whitby Town and Matlock have 14 victories each in their 37 meetings. The other eight clashes have ended level after 90 minutes.
