Whitby Town manager Chris Hardy will go into tonight’s FA Cup Third Round Qualifying replay against Gloucester City with a selection headache that could see him struggling to field 11 players.

Due to injuries and the short-term notice for a replay, the Seasiders travel to Evesham with a squad of 14 players, three of whom are goalkeepers.

And two of those could find themselves operating in an outfield berth rather than between the sticks, thanks to the Blues’ ever-increasing injury woes.

Hardy will be without Arran Wearmouth for tonight’s trip, with work commitments ruling him out of the clash, while Brad Mills and Saturday’s goalscorer Dan Rowe will face late fitness tests to determine their involvement.

Player-assistant manager Lee Bullock will also sit out of the trip through injury, joining top goalscorer Brad Fewster, captain Dale Hopson, Luke Bythway, Callum Patton, Matty Dixon and Greg Rutherford on the sidelines.

The winner of tonight’s game will be rewarded with a home clash against Stourbridge, to be played on Saturday, October 19.
